Non-Neutral Time
Zero games this week had more than three quarters of the game where one team had better than an 80% win probability. We got a pair of relative snoozers on Monday Night, but otherwise it was a mostly competitive and exciting week of NFL football.
Personnel Matching
Something new that I made last week! This shows the percent of times that a team’s offensive personnel group has faced off against a defensive personnel grouping. About 90% of plays are represented here and each row should come close to totaling 100%. Some time this week I’ll be posting the same thing for defenses.
Penalties & Turnovers
The Steelers are benefiting in a big way on turnovers & penalties. On a net basis, the Steelers have been a combined 12 points per game better than their opponents in these areas.
