Snap Counts: Week 1
A little late, but wanted to share these before Week 2 kicks off in earnest
Hi there! My preseason snap charts were so well received that I wanted to make something similar for the regular season! I’m going to start with what you’ll see below, but expect these to evolve over time. If you have feedback, I’d love to hear it.
Right now, my plan is that these will be available the early in the morning after each game at the latest. I should typically be able to get these out within an hour or two of the final whistle though. I may just post Thursday night games on socials/notes and then do an actual post following the early wave of Sunday games. Still working that out. You can find last night’s Commanders-Packers game here. I’d also like to have some kind of a landing page where you can see each team by week. More to come on all of that!

Thanks for posting these. Lots of good info succinctly displayed. I’m relatively new into the sport (UK), so it all helps me to understand some of the nuances (e.g. if they’re subbing in a blocking TE for run downs etc as opposed to using 6OL).
I was a big fan of the snap count charts you presented during preseason. Allowed a more in-depth look at different personnel. Any chance of reproducing them or is the data less available? Thanks
