Bills
The Bills remain well positioned to take their sixth consecutive AFC title. Buffalo will be returning a league-leading 16 vested veteran players who are under contracts signed prior to March 2025. Adding to that strong foundation is the fact that the Bills 91-man roster features 18 players from the 2024 & 2025 draft. I’m expecting close to 15 of those players to make the 53.
Patriots
New England entered the offseason with cap space to work with and they doled out big contracts to Milton Williams, Stefon Diggs, Carlton Davis, Robert Spillane, and Harold Landry. Those veterans and Drake Maye will be leading an roster that may soon be able to turn the corner.
Jets
The Jets are exiting an Aaron Rodgers era that bore no fruit, but still have some solid young talent to hang their hat on, especially in the defensive secondary which may be among the deepest in the league.
Dolphins
This is shaping up to be a real rebuilding year for Miami, as they enter 2025 without Terron Armstead, Jalen Ramsey, Calais Campbell, or Jonnu Smith. The Dolphins brought in a lengthy list of veterans, but aside from Minkah Fitzpatrick, it seems as though there may not be many acquisitions that will end up being long-term pieces.
